Teller County Health Department is Teller County Public Health. Their mission is to prevent disease and to protect and promote the health of Teller County citizens by assuring quality preventative health programs and services. Programs Offered by Teller County Public Health are as follows: WIC, Steps, Prenatal, Well Child Clinics, EPSDT, CHP+, HCP, Women's Health, and Adult Health.

The WIC program consist of supplying eligible women who are breast-feeding or who have infants and children to the age of five with supplemental food and nutrition. This program provides nutrition counseling, growth monitoring and supplemental foods. WIC is administered by the Colorado Department of Health and Environment. The Steps program promotes culture of healthy environments and support positive lifestyle choices through programs and services that address obesity, tobacco, nutrition, physical activity, diabetes and asthma.
